Brief info
Bria is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has worked with children, families and mental health for over 10 years in multiple capacities. Bria moved to Minneapolis from Cincinnati, OH in 2015 to complete her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy where she has continued to dedicate her time working with mental health within her community. In 2020 she sat on the Planning Committee for the inaugural Minneapolis Chapter for The Black Girl Social Club and transitioned to the role of President in 2021 while also procuring the role as the Health and Wellness Chair in the same year. Bria has a plethora of mental health experience supporting and advocating for individuals and families to have their voices heard to gain more resources, systemic support and services to better increase their mental and emotional well-being. Bria continues to advocate and serve for the health and well-being of black men, women and children across many avenues to create access, awareness and communal healing towards reframing our perspectives from surviving to thriving in our individual and communal spaces.
